Overview

Drip is built with privacy as a core principle. The app collects fully anonymous analytics to help improve the product. No personal data is ever collected, stored, or shared with third parties. Your blocklist selections, app names, and usage habits stay entirely on your device.

Data we collect

Drip collects anonymous analytics events to understand how features are used. This includes:

• A random, anonymous device identifier (not linked to your Apple ID or any personal information)
• Feature usage events (e.g., blocklist created, onboarding completed)
• Non-identifying configuration choices (e.g., balance settings, whether a schedule is enabled)
• App version, iOS version, and device model

We do not collect:

• No personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• No app names, website names, or category selections
• No screen time or app usage statistics
• No location data
• No advertising identifiers

How the app works

Drip uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls and Managed Settings frameworks) to track and enforce your screen time budget. All information about which apps you've selected, your balance, and your usage is stored locally on your device using Apple's provided mechanisms. This data is never transmitted anywhere.

Third-party services

Anonymous analytics events are transmitted to a server operated by the developer for the sole purpose of improving Drip. No data is sold, shared with advertisers, or provided to any other third party.

Anonymous device identifier

Drip generates a random identifier stored on your device to connect analytics events across sessions. This identifier is not linked to your Apple ID, phone number, or any other personal information. It cannot be used to identify you as an individual.

No account required

Drip requires no account, sign-in, or registration of any kind.

Children's privacy

Drip does not collect any personal data and requires no account. Analytics data is fully anonymous and cannot be used to identify individual users of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
