Privacy Policy

Overview

Drip does not require an account. Your blocklist selections, balance, and usage information stay on your device. Drip sends limited feature analytics to improve the app. If you submit a problem report, your description and diagnostic details are sent to the developer.

Data we collect

Drip collects feature analytics to understand how the app is used. These events include:

• A random device identifier stored in the Keychain (not linked to your Apple ID)
• Feature usage events (e.g., blocklist created, onboarding completed)
• Non-identifying configuration choices (e.g., balance settings, whether a schedule is enabled)
• App version, iOS version, and device model

Analytics do not include:

• Your name, email, or phone number
• Selected app names, website names, or category selections
• Screen Time usage history or selection tokens
• Location data or advertising identifiers

How the app works

Drip uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls and Managed Settings frameworks) to manage your screen time budget. Your selected content, balance, schedules, and launcher settings are stored locally. Blocklist configuration may also be backed up in your device Keychain for recovery after reinstall. Drip does not upload this information with analytics.

Third-party services

Feature analytics and submitted problem reports are sent to a server operated by the developer. Drip Pro purchases and restores use Apple's StoreKit service. Drip does not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Device identifier

Drip generates a random identifier stored on your device to connect analytics events across sessions. This identifier is not linked to your Apple ID or phone number. It can persist across app reinstalls and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Problem reports

If you choose Settings → Report a Problem and submit a report, Drip sends its category, your optional description, diagnostic logs, and device context to the developer. Only submit details you are comfortable sharing.

No account required

Drip requires no account, sign-in, or registration of any kind.

Children's privacy

Drip does not require an account. Analytics do not include selected apps or Screen Time usage history. A submitted problem report may contain information you choose to provide.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
